This series is made up of an outline of significant dates in Mother Mary Matthew's life and career, two different typed biographical sketches by unknown authors, an obituary (including picture) from the Providence Visitor, and an envelope containing two Mass cards.

Series 2. Correspondence Regarding Salve Regina
This series contains correspondence regarding the beginnings of Salve Regina College, its activities and financial state. Included is early correspondence to Jesse H. Metcalf regarding the possible donation of a building and lawyer Cornelius C. Moore about the sale of property from Robert Goelet. There is also a letter to Mother Mary Matthew regarding scholarships for Chinese students, information on which can also be found in the papers of Mother Mary Hilda Miley, RG #3.1.2
