Scope & content

The Anthony Walsh papers deal primarily with Dr. Walsh's interactions with Salve Regina University and his published papers on the history of psychology. There are several newspaper articles about Dr. Walsh written throughout his career, as well as a large collection of documents and correspondence relating directly to his relationship with Salve Regina University and the Department of Psychology, such as his Curriculum Vitae, papers and correspondence relating to promotion and tenure, and correspondence from his time as chair of the Department of Psychology. Dr. Walsh has archived copies of his published papers along with publishing correspondence and rough drafts of several of these papers. A collection of correspondence and materials related to CHEIRON 14, which Dr. Walsh hosted at Salve Regina in 1982, is also included.

There is also a wealth of information on the first Salve Regina University Web site, designed by Dr. Walsh in 1996, including several print outs of the Web page. Also included are standards manuals for the web site design created by Dr. Walsh and correspondence and articles about the web site. Along with this information about the Salve Regina University Web site are correspondences and print outs of the Department of Psychology home page, also designed by Dr. Walsh and featured in the 1996 Internet World's Fair.
