Loraine Wyman Collection (Ethno.Arc.0128)

The Loraine Wyman Collection consists of approximately 700 items covering the period 1859-1952 (bulk 1910-1937) and includes music manuscripts, printed music, newspaper clippings, sound recordings, photographs, concert programs, a card catalog, and publishers' page proofs from Lonesome Tunes (New York: H.W. Gray, 1916). The focus of the collection is folk music, principally from Kentucky and Quebec, and French art songs.
