Confederate currency collection (MSS-0110)

The collection primarily consists of Confederate money ranging from five-dollar bills to fifty-dollar bills. All the bills originate from Richmond, Virginia and were printed between 1861 to 1863. Copies of the articles “The Finances of the Confederate States” and “The Financier of the Confederate States” are also included.
