This series contains records which document the administrative and program functions of the Episcopal Church Women. Topics include publications, committees, the activities of Episcopal Church Women in other dioceses, estates and wills, organizations, overseas missions supported by the Episcopal Church Women, and changes in the organization's name and focus.

Included are correspondence, organization publications, copies of wills in which the Episcopal Church Women is named as a beneficiary, organizational handbooks and manuals, copies of the organization's articles of incorporation, constitution and by-laws, photographs, lists of officers, and surveys and questionnaires.

This series contains the printed Annual Reports to the Diocese of the Episcopal Church Women. The Annual Reports document the program and fiscal activities of the organization. In addition to the narrative annual report of the president, the volumes also include reports of the other officers and committees, a directory of officers and corresponding secretaries for each local parish, a calendar of events, and a copy of the constitution and by-laws of the organization.

The minutes of these meetings reveal the concerns, changing interests, and ever broadening role of the organization as it evolved over a seventy year period.

The records contained in this series document the financial activities of the Episcopal Church Women for an approximately fifty year period in the mid to late twentieth century. Financial records for the first fifty years of the organization's existence were apparently lost or destroyed. Types of records represented include cash receipt and disbursement ledgers for specific programs, check registers, financial statements, investment reports, and records relating to the involvement of the Episcopal Church Women in the United Thank Offering.
