Scope & content
This journal was entitled "Ituna's Log 1913" and was compiled Rev. Roderick Terry, D.D., to document the time on his chartered steam yacht, the Ituna, in 1913. (The Ituna was designed by George L. Watson and was built in Glasgow, Scotland). The journal primarily contains manuscript entries of the log itself, photographs, newspaper clippings, and watercolor paintings by Harold Godwin. It also contains signatures of guests and visitors to the yacht including Harriet and Frances Bryant Godwin, Dorothy Hyde, and Henry Marquand; as well as a blueprint of the steam yacht, Elgrudor. Terry also used this journal to document his chartered cruise on the yacht Osceaola along the Hudson River in 1914 and later his time on the steam yacht, Elgudor, in 1920.
