Joseph Trowbridge bill of lading (RLC.Ms.566)

This collection consists of a framed bill of lading for Captain Joseph Trowbridge to ship hay and corn from New Haven, Connecticut, to Newport, Rhode Island, for the use of the French army stationed in Newport during the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783).
