Abstract: This collection consists of the professional papers of Rosemary Pierrel Sorrentino, professor of psychology at Brown University and Dean of Pembroke College, the women's college in Brown University, from 1961 until the women's and men's colleges merged in 1971. Sorrentino is also a Brown University alumna who earned her Ph.D. in psychology there in 1953. This collection includes correspondence related to her Brown professorship and Pembroke deanship, reports related to Pembroke College, and typed drafts of speeches given in her role as dean. Materials date from 1940 – 1985 and are arranged into 1 series alphabetically by record type.
