From Libros Latinos, the collector and vendor from whom Brown purchased the collection: "Contemporary zines from Chile, including zines created in response to the ongoing protests in Chile, originally sparked by an increase in Santiago Metro's subway fare. Authored by a variety of independent artists, anarchists, and independent publishers with extremely limited runs. This corpus serves as an artistic snapshot into the lives and realities of the contemporary protest culture of Chile."
