Howard Saalman papers (Ms.2015.005)

The collection comprises notebooks (15) written in Italian and English from 1959 to 1993 containing Saalman’s research notes on Italian architecture; publications by Howard Saalman bound into 3 volumes from 1958 to 1990; and photographs and drawings used in published works by Saalman from 1958 to 1984 focusing on the work of architects Brunelleschi, Michelangelo, and Alberti.
