Biographical note
Architectural historian and documentary filmmaker, Wheaton Holden taught architectural history at Northeastern University for 39 years. He graduated from Brown in 1948 and got his doctorate from Boston University in 1969. He wrote his dissertation on the work of Robert Swain Peabody. Holden was a specialist on the life and work of Robert Swain Peabody and Julius Adolph Schweinfurth.
