Biographical/Historical note

Kenneth A. Galdston graduated from Brown University in 1968. He attended the Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) training program at the University of Maryland and later the Yale School of Organization and Management. Over the course of his career, Galdston was a community organizer in North Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota; Buffalo, New York; Naugatuck Valley, Connecticut; Merrimack Valley, Massachusetts; and, as the lead organizer of the InterValley Project, helped leaders and organizers build additional community organizations elsewhere in Massachusetts and in Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont.
