Barbara D. Blossom was born ca. 1940 and is married to Sanford H. Gorodetsky. She is an actress associated with Trinity Repertory Company in Providence through the 1992-93 season and performed in Come Back Little Sheba, Inherit the Wind, Whose Life Is It Anyway?, A Christmas Carol among many others. Ms. Blossom is known for the films: The House of Mirth (1981), The Blue Diner (2001), Mr. North (1988) and Race for Glory (1989). She was a drama teacher at the Linden Place summer camp in Bristol, RI and wrote and directed the play Saved by the Belles in 2010. She is associated with performances at Brown Summer Theatre, Newport Casino Theatre, and Providence College. She has appeared on television in the Adams Chronicles, The Grimke Sisters, The House of Mirth, etc. and has been associated with WGBH.
