| Acquisition: | The Annmary Brown Memorial and all its collections and records were deeded to Brown University in 1948. |
| Processing information: | The life of Margaret Stillwell is intertwined with the history of the Annmary Brown Memorial at Brown University because she worked as the curator there from 1917-1953. As a result, Stillwell's personal papers (MS-1UF-S3) and the records of the Annmary Brown Memorial (OF-1X-14) were also intertwined. The processing archivists have separated materials of a strictly personal nature from the records of the Annmary Brown Memorial as much as practical. Researchers should consult both collections for information about Stillwell and the Annmary Brown Memorial. |
