Ray Lorenzo Heffner files (OF.1C.13)

The Ray Lorenzo Heffner files are arranged in two series and date from his tenure as the thirteenth president of Brown University, from 1966 through 1969. The files reflect his administrative duties during a time of great political and social upheaval on campus. Series I, Brown Files, is by far the larger of the two series. The contents are arranged alphabetically by either name or topic. Topics include alumni, faculty, the Corporation, the budget, campus construction and curriculum. Series II comprises two boxes of additions to the records and deal with administrative and campus matters. The second series is also arranged alphabetically by name or topic.
