Non-Monetary Gift Files (OF.1D.4. )

The Non-Monetary Gift files is a collection of forms entitled "Report of Proposed Gift," recording gifts to Brown University such as furniture, art objects, books, manuscripts, scientific equipment, and trees. The collection dates from 1947 through 1972.

The files are organized in one series. Boxes 1 to 3 contain a miscellaneous inventory, with the folders arranged alphabetically by donor name. Box 4 includes gifts to the Champlin Stamp Collection, Haffenreffer Museum, John Carter Brown Library and the John Hay Library, the latter comprising twenty folders alphabetically arranged.

Folders are numbered chronologically from Box 1 through Box 4.
