The Brown Democrats files have been orgainzed into one series: I. Topical files.
Administrative History
The Brown Democrats is a political organization founded in support of the national Democratic Party. Brown Democrats lobby for progressive legislation in Rhode Island and at the federal level, participate in Democratic electoral campaigns, register voters at Brown and elsewhere in Providence, and facilitate political/activist involvement of students wherever possible. In addition, the organization brings speakers to campus every semester for lectures and panels.
