Rhode Island School of Design Poster Collection (200)

The posters in the collection document activities and events of the students, faculty, and administration of RISD, the School and Museum, as well as non-RISD events taking place on the RISD campus. The posters advertise events, educational programs, exhibitions, lectures, performances, and conferences. The bulk of the posters date from the 1980s through the present day, many posters are undated. The collection includes commercially printed and hand-made posters, many designed and created by RISD students using a variety of materials and media.
