Photographs, negatives, contact sheets, and slides document the faculty, their works of art, exhibitions, receptions, and studios. Arranged by individual, the bulk of the photographs and negatives record the faculty's activities, both academic and professional, during the post-World War Two era. Many of the images were taken by RISD's Anthony F. Petrillo during the 1950s and 1960s for the Alumni Bulletin. The Works of Art series includes numerous photographs taken for RISD: The Faculty (Providence: RISD, Museum of Art, 1984), an exhibition catalogue. Photographs and negatives are stored separately.
