Organized by files and minute books, the records include correspondence, memoranda, agendas, minutes, reports and studies, surveys, publications, and meeting notes taken by Academic Affairs officers. The records document the actions of administrative, faculty, and trustees committees, 1947-2007, with particular emphasis on those overseen by Academic Affairs. Minute books are organized by committee, and may include agendas, minutes, reports and studies, memoranda, notes, correspondence, department reviews, motions, yearly summaries, surveys, and publications documenting the work of administrative and faculty committees, 1947-2004. Originally held in three-ring notebooks, the records have been removed and placed into folders.

These materials are closed for 20 years after creation. Certain records may be closed for 75 years.
