Biographical note

Marion North Brown was born in Providence, RI 1881 July 28, the daughter of Harvey Martin (Col. H. Martin) and Annie Weed Brown. Her father served as president of the Industrial Trust Company located in Providence. She married Harvey Almy Baker (1881-1951), a lawyer, on 1908 September 30. They lived in Providence and were annual members of Rhode Island School of Design. Marion Baker died in Providence on 1973 July 27.
