Acquisition: |
Complete provenance of the collection is unknown, however prior to 2015, a copy of the Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Plan and supplemental documents were sent to Adams Library at Rhode Island College and added to the Special Collections. In 2023, an addition to the collection was made through a record transfer from the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Anna Cano-Morales signed a records transfer form at the time of the transfer. The records were then incorporated into the existing collection. |

The collection was initially arranged by Special Collections staff prior to 2018. The collection was described following current archival standards by Abigail Standeven, Special Collections intern, under the supervision of Veronica L. Denison, Digital Archivist and Special Collections Librarian, in 2023. The items transferred by the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion were incorporated into the collection at that time. |
