The collection includes one response letter from Booker T. Washington at Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama to Miss E.M. Tappan (presumably Eva March Tappan) in Worcester, Massachusetts on December 5, 1905. Washington apologizes for his late response and writes that he would be glad to receive the Christmas cards Tappan mentioned in a previous letter.Access Points
