Joseph George Ray papers (MSS-0132)

The collection contains Joseph George Ray’s original documents, certificates, photographs from his WWII service, poems, stories, letters, newspaper articles, religious souvenirs, information and pamphlets on the lace trade in Rhode Island, and correspondence.

Many of the records in this collection were organized by his daughter, Marie Ray Fraley, in preparation for the publication of her book, “My Buffalo Nickel.”
