This series consists of letters, manuscripts, and photographs containing autobiographical and biographical information on United States Congressmen from Rhode Island. The materials are cataloged individually and are arranged in alphabetical order according to the Congressman to which they refer. Also included at the end of the series is a letter to Charles Lanman written in 1867 which corrects some mistakes in the most recent Dictionary.
