Series 1. Subject File
The series contains correspondence, reports, news articles, journal articles, labor documents, education records, speeches, lecture materials, press releases, handwritten notes, maps, historical society records, photographs, research materials, public transit guides and ephemera.

Subjects include organized labor, Irish history, historical organizations, public transit, Rhode Island history and cultures, monographic research, and Molloy’s personal materials.

Series 2. David and Miriam Molloy
The series contains correspondence, photographs, new articles, reports, certificates, sports memorabilia, police records, military records, student letters, education records, retirement records and trip files.

Subjects include David Malloy’s education, sports career, military service and employment as a Providence police officer, as well as Miriam Molloy’s education, graduate work in mathematics, and teaching career.

Series 3. Molloy Family Papers
The series contains records regarding Scott Molloy, his immediate and extended family members. The series contains correspondence, resumes, reports, geneological materials, certificates, emails, news articles, and holiday cards.

Subjects include Scott Molloy’s travel letters, letters and emails from his children, materials on his uncle, Henry Molloy, and materials on Miriam Molloy’s mother, Virginia Handy.

Series 4. Photographs
The series contains small to medium sized photographs, negatives, photocopied photographs and book covers, photo album pages, and some folders contain materials related to subject matter of the photographs.

Subjects include family photographs, trips abroad, head stones, school reunions, activist groups, labor union events, Reservoir Triangle neighborhood reunion, and photographs used in Scott Molloy’s memoire “From the Front of the Bus to the Front of the Class: Growing Up a Baby Boomer in the Reservoir Triangle”.

Series 5. Molloy Family Genealogy
The series contains research materials collected and created by Scott Molloy’s mother and sister regarding the genealogical history of his family.

Records include photocopied historical publications, birth, death, and marriage certificates, news articles, pedigree charts, correspondence, photographs, and family sheet forms.

Series 6. Appointment Books
The series consists of notepads, pocket calendars, weekly diaries, and weekly planners containing notes on daily schedules and contact information.

Series 7. Labor Publications
The series contains labor history monographs, event programs, pamphlets, flyers, convention proceedings, reports, commemoration programs, articles, newsletters, union business proceedings, and labor promotional materials.

Series 8. Rhode Island History Publications
The series contains publications on Rhode Island history from the Rhode Island Historical Society, Rhode Island Supreme Court Historical Society, Institute for Labor Studies and Research (Working in Rhode Island: Past and Present). The series also contains an extensive study guide on the legacy of Roger Williams.

Series 9. Irish History Publications
The series contains publications on Irish history including a graphic rememberance, "A Full Life: James Connolly the Irish Rebel", "The Irish of Rhode Island from Log House to State House, 1640-1940", "Our Own Kind" (Edward McSorley), "An Irish Pilgrimage" (George Potter).

Series 10. Memorabilia/Realia
The series contains film reels, framed photographs, oversized photographs, audiocassettes, microfilm reels, personal items, labor union resolutions, posters, flyers, drafting tools, and military realia.
