Scope & content

This collection is comprised of student photo albums, scrapbooks, and memorabilia donated to the University of Rhode Island by alumni and/or their relatives. This collection exemplifies the rich social life of the college student in the early 20th century. In addition to photographs and news clippings, the scrapbooks contain dance cards and college memorabilia.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Acquisition:	The acquisitions information for many of the materials is unknown. Contents in Box 19 and 20 were deposited to the University Archives and Special Collections and Archives by Dr. Clarence C. Goertemiller in June 2013. The contents in Box 22 were donated in January 2014 by Deborah Mongeau.
