ABOUT THE COLLECTION  
Acquisition: Materials prior to 1964 were collected by J. Louis Giddings and retained by the Haffenreffer Museum of the American Indian upon his death in December 1964. Materials dated 1965 and later were collected by Ruth Warner Giddings who was named curator of the museum after her husband’s death.
