Historical note
William Emil Iselin (1848-1937), banker and yachtsman, was the brother of the America's Cup defender C. Oliver Iselin, and a successful yachtsman himself. He was the final owner of "Vigilant" (built in 1893 by a syndicate that included his brother Oliver), which was broken up in 1910. "Enchantress" was designed by Cary Smith and Ferris, and built by George Lawley and Son, Boston.
