Abstract:: The McCarthy/Bannon Family Collection consists of newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence and ephemera related to the Bannon family of Mansfield, Massachusetts and the McCarthy family of Providence, Rhode Island. The majority of materials are related to Patrick Joseph McCarthy who served as mayor of Providence, Rhode Island from January 1907 to January 1909.
